One Wild Night… Bon Jovi Style

Just thought you might enjoy this blast from the past… (sorry about the ad)

One Wild Night is Here!

I’m so excited I can’t stand it! One Wild Night is out now from Etopia Press. And let me tell you, it was a long time coming.

My lovely husband, Joe (okay, his name’s not really Joe, but I’ve always liked that name) lost his job several months ago. I know, amazing, right? I had a deadline for turning in the edits for One Wild Night, and I had just gotten a contract for the second and third novellas in the series. I was dancing on a cloud, until I had to start doing crazy overtime. Double shifts… late shifts, you name it. So the deadline came and went and my edits weren’t finished, and my revisions weren’t done, and…you get the idea. My release date was delayed twice. I had deadlines for the new novella. Those came and went, too.

These things can’t happen before I make promises? No. Not only do we suddenly have to be poor, but I suddenly have to feel like a complete loser for not being able to meet my deadlines. I must have been the Worst Author Ever to work with.

But One Wild Night is finally here! (Don’t tell my boss… I kept going to the computer to see it up on All-Romance E-books and Amazon and Barnes and Noble and show anyone I could lure over to the machine. When my boss wasn’t looking of course!) It’s like the big work secret. All the women are all happy dancing with me, and all the men were like, “what the hell do they keep looking at over there?”

Book 2, Two Wild Wolves, is finished and in the hands of my amazing editor, Melissa Bell, who held my hand and worked with me after I missed deadline after deadline, and made my story so much better than it was when I first submitted it. And a big thank you to everyone else who worked with me at Etopia Press: Mellissa, Jennifer, and Laurel. You ladies are the best! I can’t wait to work with you all again on Book 2!

As for Book 3, Three Wild Ways?

Let’s not jinx it.

I got my Cover Art!

I got my cover art today for One Wild Night! All I can say is… aooooooooo!

Thanks to Annie Melton for the totally perfect cover!

Is this thing on…?

Hi, I just had my first erotic paranormal romance (with werewolves!) short accepted by Etopia Press! I’m very excited. I’m rushing around trying to set up my blog before my release date. I’ll be posting excerpts, cover, and blurbs as I get them.
